How to Fix "Please Restart Windows Before Installing New Program" Error

it's a very common issues for windows user. this restart windows comes when we install a new software. i am facing same problem many time but i found solution may this work for you. some time this issues solve after restarting a PC or laptop but sometime restarting or shutdown pc not work. this error come again and again when you install software. use following solution may this solution help for you. for more details check the video on YouTube. this program comes for me when i install a stpe7 software. i tried lot but nothing work. so i use following fix for restart window error.

first step : Open Registry editor as administrator

    To open the Registry Editor in Windows, there are several methods you can use.
  • you can open registry editor by Using the "Run" Dialog Box to do this Press Win + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box. Type regedit and press Enter or click OK. If prompted by User Account Control, click Yes to allow the Registry Editor to run.
  • or you can use start menu to registry editor from start menu Click the Start Menu or press the Win key. Type regedit in the search box. From the search results, click on Registry Editor. If prompted by UAC, click Yes to confirm

now make a following changes in your registry editor carefully, in registry editor go to path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Session Manager".

Check the value in "PendingFileRenameOperations" to check value open value dialog box right click on "PendingFileRenameOperations" and select modify, or double click on "PendingFileRenameOperations".

delete all values of "PendingFileRenameOperations" for delete value of "PendingFileRenameOperations" press Ctrl+A and right click on multi-string dialogue box and select delete. check proper values are deleted or not after successfully delete again open setup as administrator and install.
