Page in a hmi is a visual display or interface which are used to design for user in a Human machine interface (HMI). HMI have collection of different pages each pages design for different purpose. in hmi page design for specific task like control a process, alarm, trend, navigation, process overview, hmi setup, hmi communication configuration etc. hmi page used graphical component like button, slider, meter, gauge etc. for visualization design of a HMI.   • Normal: normal hmi page which can used for process control, configuration and visualization.
  • Dialogue: a small pages which the user is prompted to provide information or select commands.
  • template: you can create preconfigured screen for multiple page for formatting, control etc. template page are use to any pages.

normal page is screen interface for user which can design for specific function or monitoring of process. it can be used controlling, visualization of process, alarm, trend view etc. these page can navigate with tab, button, menu or conditional opening. Home page is default page in a hmi screen. pages are screen in hmi. you can add multiple pages and navigate by button or control. in project view select pages and insert normal page.

template pages are designed as preconfigured screen that can be used in other page. you can not open this template page normally. Template pages are used in normal pages. this can help to uniform design and functionality. Template are time saving screen because a single template screen used in any screen.

  • width: set width of screen.
  • height: set height of screen.
  • fit to screen: select how screen are fit in screen for web pages.

how to open page or dialog with button click in abb hmi

normal page and dialog can open by mouse click or pressed event of button. insert a page and enter page name (page2) now insert a button from widget gallery and follow following steps.
  • 1. select button in screen
  • 2. on button properties select mouse click events
  • 3.on action dialog select page action than select load page. for open dialog select show dialog.
  • 4. in action properties select page which you want to open by button click.
